Sam fait parti des rares artistes dans le monde et pionnier en France depuis 2008 à pratiquer le beach art, du land art s’apparentant à des graffitis éphémères réalisés avec l'aide unique d'un râteau à marée basse sur les belles plages qu'il parcourt à travers le monde. Ses immenses fresques sont inspirées par le pays où il se trouve, sa culture (zelliges marocains, azulejos portugais...), l'environnement direct ou simplement improvisées. Une fois l'oeuvre terminée, vient un second travail, photographique cette fois, lui permettant de créer une oeuvre pérenne et raconter une nouvelle histoire dans laquelle la poésie de l'instant prend toute sa place, parfois juste dans un détail, figurant la fragile beauté de notre environnement et nous plaçant en contemplateur conscient.
Sam is one of the few artists in the world and pioneer in France since 2008 to practice beach art, some land art similar to ephemeral graffiti made with the unique help of a rake at low tide on the beautiful beaches that he travels around the world. His huge sand drawings are inspired by the country he visits, its culture (Moroccan zelliges, Portuguese azulejos ...), the direct environment or simply improvised. Once the work is finished, comes a second work, photographic this time, allowing him to create a lasting work and tell a new story in which the poetry of the moment takes its place, sometimes just in a detail, representing the fragile beauty of our environment and makes us stop and reflect on the magic of the moment, our relationship with nature and the very essence of our beings
