Colorama - Biarritz

L'équipe UKA était en mode voyage tout l'été et nous avons eu la chance d'admirer le toujours remarquable festival COLORAMA à BIARRITZ qui fêtait sa 5e édition au mythique Hotel BELLEVUE. 
Le principe reste inchangé et les organisateurs réunis autour du graffeur et peintre contemporain GREMS proposent aux artistes invités de re-décorer un lieu avant sa destruction ou sa réhabilitation autour d'une thématique couleur. Cela permet d'harmoniser des styles très différents et de donner une cohérence remarquable à l'ensemble de l'exposition. 22 artistes nationaux pour cette édition sous COVID et des  chambres éclatantes de Bleus au coeur même de la cité Basque.

The team UKA was in travel mode all this summer (21) and, we got the chance to admire the COLORAMA BIARRITZ Festival which celebrate its 5th edition at the mythical BELLEVUE Hôtel.

The organizers gather around the contemporary graffiti artists and painters GREMS, offers the guest artists to re=decorate a place before its destruction. This allow to harmonize very different style and give one self remarkable consistency to the entire exposition. 22 national artists for this edition under COVID and bright blue rooms in the heart of Basque city.
